How to stop buffering on Netflix, iPlayer, Amazon and more


Imagine you are watching HD movie or video in the streaming site and suddenly it is buffering, then what would be your reaction? Well, it is definitely an annoying situation when hurdles come after the smooth streaming of video. However, there are some solutions that would help in fixing the Netflix buffering issues.


Conduct a speed test of your internet
Prior to coming to any conclusion, first of all, you should check the internet connection and check if the speed of the internet is proper for video streaming. It can be a problem with your broadband and internet connection. You need to check the speed of your internet where you need minimum 3MBPS to watch the video streaming on Netflix, Amazon and I Player, however, the minimum speed can be exceeded up to 10 MBPS, so make sure your internet connection is touching the recommended speed.

Take a little bit pause while video streaming
Sometimes streaming video takes time to download, so pause your video for a few minutes until it gets successfully downloaded before you press the play button. If your speed is the issue, this will help in fixing the Netflix buffering issue of the video and you will not find any obstacles while watching your favorite shows.  

Restart the Device
This is the most simple and effective solution for every device that performs online services. Like we perform restart the computer system when it gets issues, similarly, it can be implemented to the device. Restart your Amazon, I Player or Netflix black screen whatever you are using and wait for few minutes. Almost 80% of device problems get resolved by restarting the device. You can do this for your router also.


Clear cache, history, temporary files and cookies
By using the computer any other device in which you are watching the video streaming can be filled with a lot of caches, cookies, history, and temporary files, that can make your device slow and t will eventually make problem in streaming the video smoothly. You need to try this, go to web browser Settings and select the option in which you will see clear history cookies and caches and temporary internet files. It will boost the speed of your system and you can watch your videos without any obstruction.

Make our router closer to the Device
Often the proximity of router is also crucial while you are watching the streaming videos. If your device is farther from the router, it might be possible that the signal coming to the device is slow, to get the accurate signal, try to put your router closer to the video streaming device.
